Recumbent Tandem
Well we did it.
We ordered a new 2008 EZ Tandem from our local bike shop.
With any luck we should have it this weekend and be able to
get a little riding time in.

Update: September 3, 2008
We took delivery of our new bike on Saturday August 30th.
For our first extended test ride we decided to take it out on
Labor Day morning to Debbie’s vet clinic (6 miles one way).
After Debbie completed the treatments on the animals we
decided to continue on to her mom & dads house ( another 4 miles).
After meeting up with her parents (who also have a tandem) we continued
on to the Pier park for a small picnic. We headed for home after eating lunch
and followed the lakeshore (into a fairly stiff head wind) for approx. 5miles.
Final tally for the first ride: 24 miles – not too bad.
